In order to better practice “The Belt and Road Initiative” proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, promote the domestic and international visual art exchange and improve internationally school-running level, College of Art, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics first phase “International Artists Residency Programme” (hereinafter referred to as “Residency Programme”) is now recruiting visual artists worldwide.
I. Recruiting Object
Visual artists at home and abroad. Especially welcome painting, photography, design and calligraphy artists.
II. Number of Recruits
1 overseas visual artist, 1 domestic visual artist.
III. Residency Period
1 month between April 2018-June or September-December. (The specific time will be agreed upon by the artist and the organizer)

College of Art, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics (Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China)
V. Job Description
During the residency period, artists engage in artistic creation, organizing lectures and opening workshop teaching. Hold an exhibition of art creation works at the end of the residency. Artist donates two works to the permanent collection of the organizer.
VI. Working Conditions
The organizer provides the artists with a round trip fee, accommodation, costs associated with artistic creation and exhibition and pay artists RMB 10,000 yuan as a reward for holding lectures and workshop teaching.
VII. Application
1. Application Materials
Applicants download and fill out the “College of Art, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics International Artists Residency Programme Application Form”. The form should be named " International Artists Residency Programme + applicant country name + applicant name", e.g. “International Artists Residency Programme China John”. Applicants are also required to provide a set of individual original works. Works can be submitted in the form of photo gallery, PowerPoint presentation or PDF. VIII. Review and Result Publishing
Organizer organizes experts to review all application materials. The result of the review will be published on the college website（http://ys.zufe.edu.cn/） and relevant media, and be notified to each applicant by email at the same time.

College of Art, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics is affiliated to Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics. There are four undergraduate majors in photography, visual communication design, environmental design and fine arts and a master's degree in art marketing and management. Currently there are 48 staff members, including 6 professors and 8 associate professors, 611 undergraduates and graduate students.
